Well done. Very important topic. The good news is that you will always be able to supplement your kids' education with your experience and example. The British system is much more geared towards early specialisation (only 3 subjects from age 16), while some European countries provide a wider (although nowadays shallower) breadth. All a bit random, but then again, state education is to provide employment for teacher-activism not education for children.
