There's a report now from Israel that supreme leader Ali Khamenei has been killed.
Earlier on, celebrations erupted in the streets in Tehran when the Beit-e Rahbari (regime central compound) was struck. I've also seen a report that "thousands" of Revolutionary Guards (the regime's enforcers) were killed or wounded by attacks on their installations.
If the Iranian people are able to seize the moment and fulfill the hopes of the January uprising, this will indeed be a pivotal moment. A democratic Iran, friendly to Israel and the West, would completely transform the situation in the Middle East.

Iran is not what people think. Far less than half its population is even Muslim any more (https://gamaan.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/GAMAAN-Iran-Religion-Survey-2020-English.pdf). This hideous theocratic regime has nothing to do with Iran as a culture or nation.
