About one million Israeli civilians had spent time today in their bomb shelters as various projectiles have been fired at them from Lebanese territory. In response, Israel is continuing to negotiate a “ceasefire”.
Prime Minister Netanyahu unsurprisingly continued the display of his unbelievable cowardice and weakness. It’s disgusting. Imagine Churchill negotiating with the Germans as they blitzed London. Picture FDR negotiating with the Japanese after Pearl Harbor. It’s unthinkable. Unfortunately for the Israeli people, their leader is far from a Churchill. Indeed, even comparing him to Chamberlain would be offensive.
What Israel needs to do in response is not only to eradicate the civilian infrastructure of the Anarchic state of Lebanon and lead to its total collapse but also to finally properly strike the Iranian oil and nuclear facilities, as they are the root cause of this war.
Netanyahu’s weakness emboldens the forces of evil. The more Israel appears weak, the more rockets we will face, and the more Israelis will die. The smell of Jewish blood sweeps through the Middle East in bulk.
Any negotiation with evil is immoral and self-destructive. There mustn’t be any communication between Israel and Lebanon at all. Especially not announcing to them where Israel will strike. The Lebanese people need to come crawling towards the Israelis, kissing their feet, and begging for Israel to stop levelling what’s left of their pathetic little anarcho-state.
Insofar as they are in a position to set any terms, to fire a single rocket at Israeli homes, to shoot a single bullet against the IDF soldiers, it means that not enough has been done.
Israel needs a new generation of leadership that isn’t contaminated by this rotten “October 6th” ideology of appeasement. Everybody involved with running Israel pre-October 7th needs to go home if not arrested for criminal mismanagement.
Tragically, it doesn’t strike me that even the Israelis understand that. One point of evidence towards that is that the predominant war-time protest movement inside of Israel not only doesn’t put pressure on Israel to take firmer action against its enemies but instead calls for an even more outrageous appeasement than that of Netanyahu.
That is tragic.
If the Israeli population isn’t going to hold its own government accountable and demand a change, they are also partially responsible for this state, as the government is a representative of the people.
Israelis need to take a strong, morally clear stance and share their voices in social media, traditional media, on the streets and any other possible means of communication.
If the Israelis won’t do that, their government is setting them on track for a much worse war in the years to come. Israel will face a nuclear Iran and a much more sophisticated proxies, who have now an experience of fighting against Israel for well over a year. Israel will be facing an October 7th on a massive scale.
It is now or never. When the Islamic Republic of Iran will finally obtain their nuclear missiles, things will be dramatically different. We, Israelis, must understand that and fight for our homes. We know very well from history that nobody else would.
Am Israel Chai.
