Finally, we got some fantastic news thanks to the IDF’s heroic operation to release four hostages from Gaza. Their names are Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv.
First and foremost, it is important to celebrate this wonderful news. These four individuals were kidnapped from the Nova party on October 7th and have been held in terrible conditions for 246 days. It is Israel's moral obligation to use all military capabilities to bring these hostages home, and it has done so bravely. For that, we need to salute the brave soldiers and officers who led this operation.
The reaction to this event is an amazing testimony to the difference between Israel and Palestine. I wish you to show this video from a few hours ago, where a lifeguard at the TLV beach announces the news to the bathers at the beach.
There are other very moving videos of the reunion moments with the families and other spontaneous celebrations on the streets, but those from the beach are particularly moving for me.
The Israelis cherish life and live it to the fullest, despite the ongoing war. They continue to visit the beach, dine at restaurants, and travel for holidays. Their love for life is unwavering, and they refuse to let the war prevent them from living. When they hear that Israeli lives have been saved, they celebrate.
Contrast this with the Palestinians, those who initiated the massacre and then celebrated it on the streets of Gaza. We must never forget those horrible videos of trucks with Israeli bodies and hostages covered with blood and the celebrations around them. They hand out candy even today every time they fire their pathetic rockets. Despite all the destruction that surrounds them, they celebrate every time they manage to kill Israelis, or even when they manage to threaten Israelis.
The Israelis don’t celebrate when Gazans die, but they celebrate when Israelis are saved. One civilization celebrates life. The other celebrates death. The difference couldn’t be any clearer; those videos are a testament to that.
We mustn’t forget that this is a war of good versus evil. Every time you hear someone apologise for Palestine, or even worse, justify their evil action, call him out! We must stand strongly against evil. We must fight it on every front.
Let us hope that more successful rescue operations will come.
This is the best news for me today even though I am not Israeli.I hope all the hostages can return home safely .God bless Israel.
